The Vice Chancellor of Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) Professor Olasebikan Fakolujo, has described praise as a gateway to miracles and healing, saying coming before God with humble adoration and worship, attracts healing and miracles.
Fakolujo, who made this assertion during the JABU praise programme, said that healing and perfect health is part of God’s plan for people and it is essential to know that praise can be used for healing and divine health.
The VC said, “We all know what God Almighty did for the children of Judah, as He set an ambush against the enemy of Judah through praise.
“As we continue to worship and praise God Almighty, today, in His power, there shall be victory, deliverance, restoration, miracles, healing, and abundance, unity in all families, peace and joy in our country.
“I would like to draw the attention of Worshippers at this event, that irrespective of the denomination anyone may belong to, this kind of event like JABU Praise will surely promote unity among Christians,
“When the centurion sought for the healing of his servant in Matthew 8:8. “The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.”
“Jesus responded that Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel” I therefore admonish you to have faith that whatever you are seeking, God will answer you in multiple fold.”
He expressed optimism that the ministration of the General Overseer of the Mountain for Fire and Miracles Ministries, Pastor D. K Olukoya, at the JABU praise will go a long way to address the social vices among the youths.
He said, “Considering the level of social vices among our youth nowadays, through the ministration of our great evangelist, Pastor (Dr) D. K. Olukoya, the General Overseer of the Mountain for Fire and Miracles Ministries, all their challenges will be taken care.
“I can assure you that Pastor Olukoya, through his ministration and praises deliverance, miracles, signs, and wonders will be witnessed here today by the staff, students, community, and others who grace the event in Jesus’ name.
“I equally appreciate the MFM National Choir, state choir, Prayer warriors, Media crew, and others who have contributed immensely to the success of this programme. God of Joseph Ayo Babalola will bless you, in all areas of your endeavour”
The MFM General Overseer, who spoke to the participants through Zoom, said praise is a gateway to miracles and praise releases miracles.
According to him, “When we come to Jesus with humble adoration and worship, we will experience healing and miracles in our lives.
“When we praise and worship the Lord even amid our pain and sickness, He will be moved with compassion on us and He will perform a miracle in our lives. Whoever is admitted into the school of praise will graduate with the certificate of Signs and Wonders,” he added.
He listed the benefits of Praising God to lift the spirit, feel God’s presence, enlarge the perception of God, and reveal solutions we can’t see.
He, however, encouraged the participants to stick to praise as a way out of every challenge, saying, “Whatever blessing and breakthrough you are looking for, begin to praise God and see what miracle GOD will perform in your life and always remember, when praises go up, God’s blessing comes down.”
