Embrace love, self discipline, Senator Buhari tells Muslims

The chairman, Senate Committee on Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Cybercrime, Senator AbdulFatai  Buhari,  has urged Nigerians  to continue to imbibe the principles of love, compassion, self discipline and obedience to constituted authority

Buhari,  in a congratulatory message to Muslim faithful at Eid el-Fitri,  said  part of the teachings of Islam was to continue to pray for enduring unity, peace and progress of the country at all times.

“With  our sincerity of purpose and supplication to the Almighty Allah during and after  Ramadan,  I believe that we can overcome all our challenges as a nation.

“I implore you to also continue to support the government in prayers,” he said.

He also used the occasion to restate his commitment to contributing to the advancement of Nigeria’s development through ICT and other areas.

Senator Buhari, an APC senator from Oyo North senatorial district in the National Assembly, however, promised his constituency more dividends of democracy and qualitative representation.
