Elegantz Magazine, a Nigerian community and lifestyle publication based in Houston, United States, is set to celebrate its third anniversary and unveil its third edition in a grand event on Friday, October 17, 2025.
The celebration will take place at New Ejide Restaurant and Lounge, located at 10571 Synott Road, Houston, Texas.

Speaking in an interview with AfrocentrikTV, Elegantz publisher, Kayode Toriola, announced that over 300 distinguished guests are expected at the red-carpet ceremony. Among them is His Royal Majesty, Oba ‘Sola Olaniyan, Orijajogun I, the Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom, who will travel from Nigeria to serve as Chairman and Royal Father of the Day.

The event will also attract Nollywood stars based in the United States, as well as community leaders, business executives, and media professionals, in what promises to be a remarkable gathering celebrating Nigerian excellence abroad.

Toriola, a teacher turned banker and journalist, is the visionary behind Elegantz Magazine. He described the publication as a platform created to celebrate the achievements of Nigerians and Africans in the diaspora.

“This anniversary is not just a celebration of our magazine—it’s a celebration of community, culture, and collective progress,” said Toriola. “We’re proud of how far we’ve come and grateful to everyone who continues to believe in our vision.”

Toriola expressed appreciation to his wife, Funmilayo Toriola, a gospel singer and healthcare practitioner, for her constant support, as well as several community partners and sponsors, including Temitayo Ejide (CEO, Ejide Restaurant & Lounge), Adenike Kotun, Olumide Anjorin, Bunmi “Omega” Adesemoye, Esther Yeribo, Attorney O.J. Lawal, and Rotimi Areola, among others.

The Elegantz team also called on corporate bodies and private individuals to support the milestone event, describing it as an opportunity to promote unity, growth, and cultural pride among Africans in the diaspora.

Since its inception, Elegantz Magazine has gained remarkable traction, with over 30,000 active social media followers and a strong readership among Nigerian and African professionals across North America. Its vibrant print editions and digital presence have positioned it as one of the fastest-growing African diaspora publications in the United States.
