The Management of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Ado Ekiti has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s efforts aimed at continuing transformation of the Hospital.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Professor Kayode Olabanji, gave the commendation while on his usual wards round of the Hospital.
The head of Corporate Affairs department of the Hospital, Rolake Adewumi in a statement on Tuesday, said the CMD was particularly impressed with the provision of new ultra modern equipment meant to enhance the service of the Dental centre.
According to him, the equipment includes new Dental Chairs with cameras to improve Ekiti people’s oral hygiene.
The CMD urged all members of staff to be more dedicated and hardworking in order to justify the huge investments of the state government in the Teaching Hospital.
In the same vein, the CMD advised Ekiti people to make regular Medical check up a priority by availing themselves of the opportunity to visit the centre to ensure healthy oral hygiene.
Professor Olabanji noted that the Medical checkup for the members of House of Assembly and Civil Servants is still ongoing at the Adunni Olayinka Wellness Centre in the Hospital.
The EKSUTH boss said, “it is very important to undergo the regular medical checkup, because health is wealth.”
