An Ekiti High Chief, Asiwaju Ewe of Otun Ekiti, Chief Kazeem Akande, has congratulated the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, on his coronation as the 43rd Olubadan.

In a message issued on Friday, Akande rejoices with Oba Olakulehin on his coronation and presentation of staff of office by the Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Gov. Seyi Makinde.

Akande, who is also a renowned philanthropist in Ibadan, expressed his conviction that Oba Olakulehin is fit for the Olubadan throne now.

“Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the newly installed Olubadan, is a man of many parts, an experience I believe will be to the benefit of Ibadanland,” Akande said.

Akande, an indigene of Ibadan who is also the Otunba Bobatolu of Orile Kemta, however, prayed that the coronation of Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland would bring peace and prosperity to the ancient city while wishing him wisdom, good health, and longevity on the throne of his forefathers.

He said, “On behalf of my family, I wish to felicitate with Oba Olakulehin on his coronation as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, which is a victory for all Ibadan sons and daughters as well as all the residents of the ancient city.
