ACTION Democratic Party (ADP) has formally picked a successful businessman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aeroland Group of Companies, Otunba Segun Adewale, as its flagbearer for the July 14th governorship election coming up in Ekiti State.
This was just as the newly emerged candidate immediately rolled out a 7-point Agenda to be implemented once he was voted into office, declaring that “a new and prosperous Ekiti is here,” while emphasizing the party’s focus on creating wealth for the people.
Adewale, widely known as OSAPraPra, emerged as the party’s flagbearer in the primary conducted over the weekend in line with the Option A4 adopted by the party as well as in compliance with the Electoral Act and the laid down guidelines of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Adewale, who reiterated that his concerned to address the sufferings of the people and bring succour to the people made him throw himself to the race, said he was also determined to re-invite all the businesses that had left Ekiti State due to high charges or political considerations and immediately restore their confidence in the state.

The ADP flagbearer, while promising to revive agriculture in the state, a development that would witness the rebirth of “Igbimo Rice” that “will become a sensation all over Africa and the world,” said part of his Agenda would be to create vocational centers that would be situated in all the three senatorial districts of the state.
