EIGHT very mean masterminds behind the kidnapping of 276 Chibok girls in 2014 have been arrested by the special intelligence squad of the inspector general of police IG Ibrahim Idris.
The eight arrested with other insurgents by the team led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari were paraded before newsmen Wednesday afternoon in Maiduguri.
Borno State, Commissioner of Police Demien Chukwu told newsmen that the arrest of the seven including a mastermind of bombs in the state totalling twenty-two form the largest catch of important insurgents since 2019.
