Ogunbiyi said this in his Eid-el-Kabir message to Muslim faithful in a statement signed and forwarded to pressmen in Osogbo the state capital by his Press Secretary, Ismail Afolabi on Saturday.

The philanthropist enjoined every stakeholder and shareholder in the state of the virtuous to increase their efforts in charitable endeavors, perseverance, and prayers for the state.
He appealed to the people to extend their prayers at the Eid praying grounds to the call on Allah (SWT) to rebuild the economy of the state and bring succour to the mass of her people.
While congratulating the Muslim faithful, the PDP leader said that Sallah was a period that signifies the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son to show absolute submission to Allah’s command; a reminder of a rare act of obedience. and that its massive lessons of faith, perseverance, and endurance must be sustained by all.
He further stressed that: “Eid el-Kabir is more than just a celebration. It is a reminder of an act of obedience to Allah. Muslims should remember Prophet Ibrahim and the massive lessons of faith, perseverance, and endurance that the season signified, imbibe the spirit of brotherhood and pray for the emancipation of our beloved state and our ailing nation.”
