The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) has extended its Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims across the country, emphasizing the need for peaceful coexistence and national unity.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Dr. Emmanuel Agbo, the Forum, under the leadership of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of Ramadan and urged them to uphold the values of tolerance, love, and sacrifice that the holy month represents.
“Eid-el-Fitr is a time for reflection on the virtues of patience, self-discipline, and devotion. We celebrate with Muslims across the world and pray that Almighty Allah accepts their worship and grants them many more celebrations in good health,” the statement read.

Beyond the spiritual significance of the season, the Forum stressed the importance of unity among Nigerians, calling on all citizens to embrace peace, harmony, and national development.
“We urge all Nigerians to continue living together harmoniously, remain relentless in their prayers, and support the nation’s leadership in ensuring peace, security, and unity. Now more than ever, we must all take an active role in peace-building to create a country that works for everyone,” the Forum stated.
The PDP Governors reaffirmed their commitment to fostering national unity, emphasizing that peace is the foundation for progress and prosperity.
The Forum concluded by wishing Muslims a joyful and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration and praying for Allah’s continued blessings and guidance for the nation.
