Voting across Ward 10 in Owan West Local Government Area in Edo State has remained peaceful as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Saturday conducted governorship election in the state.
INEC personnel and materials according to the locals arrived at different voting centres in the ward at about 7:30am, while actual voting commenced by 9am after sorting out the voting materials.
There was large turnout of voters across the different voting voting centres visited by our correspondent.
“There is no issue of voting buying across the ward as there are policemen and other security agents on ground to ensure that there is no insecurity during the election.
