LESS than one year to the governorship election in Edo State, all seems not to be well with the state branch of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as its Secretary, Mr Lawrence Okah was booted out by the State Executive Committee.
A statement in Benin by the assistant state Secretary, Anthony Ikuenobe, explained that the decision to sack Okah was arrived at after a meeting of the State Executive Committee on Tuesday where a vote of no confidence was passed on him.
The sacking comes on the heels of a frosty relationship between Governor Godwin Obaseki and the APC national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for the control of the soul of the party in the state.
