Ebonyi 2027: Group inaugurates LG exco to champion Gov Nwifuru’s re-election

A sociopolitical organisation in Ebonyi State, operating under the aegis of Francis Frontiers (F-F), has inaugurated its local government executives to galvanise grassroots support for the re-election of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

Comprised of political elites and business moguls, the group was formed to amplify the achievements of the governor and champion his second-term bid.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Chairman of the group, Rt. Hon. Chris Usulor, said the organisation was established to complement the governor’s efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy through infrastructural development and human empowerment.

“In situations where the achievements of the governor are underreported, our duty is to showcase them to the world. That is why this group was formed,” he stated.

Also speaking to journalists, Hon. Chidi Ejem, a former member of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly and National Vice Chairman (Ebonyi South zone) of the organisation, lauded Governor Nwifuru’s developmental strides in the region.

“Every community in Ebonyi South has an ongoing project. It has never been this widespread. While previous governors did their part, we must commend Governor Nwifuru for surpassing expectations in just two years,” he said.

In his remarks, Comrade Ben Nwovu, Deputy Chairman of the organisation in the state, described Governor Nwifuru as a “silent achiever,” noting that the group was created to highlight his milestones and rally support for his re-election.

“Everyone in the state is pleased with him, particularly for his peace-building initiatives. Every community is enjoying peace. Ebonyi is now one big family, and that is why we have chosen to showcase him to the world,” he added.
