The Bauchi State Police Command has assured residents its readiness to provide adequate security before, during, and after the Easter celebrations.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, the command reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the state.
The Commissioner extended warm Easter greetings to Christian faithful and the general public, urging citizens to reflect on the values of peace, unity, and progress during the season. He called on all residents, particularly religious leaders and worshippers, to cooperate with security personnel for a seamless and peaceful celebration.
To ensure comprehensive security coverage, the Command has deployed sufficient personnel drawn from conventional police units and tactical teams, supported by necessary logistics. Officers have been directed to remain civil yet firm in the discharge of their duties.
