Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has congratulated Christians in the state and globally on the 2025 Easter celebration.
In a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago urged Christians to reflect on the significance of Easter and its positive impact on society.
The governor noted that Easter is a fundamental celebration in Christianity, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and encouraged Christians to hold firmly to the values it symbolises.
He also called on them to pray for peace and tranquility in Niger State and Nigeria.
Governor Bago further urged Christians to pray for wisdom and guidance for government officials, enabling them to serve humanity better.
He reassured that his administration is committed to achieving the New Niger agenda for the benefit of all citizens.
