Internationally recognized kids dance group, Dream Catchers, would be featured in a new song by popular UK based Nigerian Afropop singer, Sean Dampte and the Legbegbe crooner, Mr Real, Friday Treat has learnt.
The Ikorodu based dance group of kids’ recent activities on social media and performances from shows have no doubt got the attention of highly rated celebrities in the entertainment industry both locally and internationally, and in turn bringing them the fame and recognition they tend to enjoy now.
For Dream Catchers Dance Academy, a formation of street and vulnerable kids picked up from the street and were later trained to become world class dancers and actors, under the asupices of Dream Nurture Foundation, ‘broke the internet’ and caught the attention of international celebrities such as the iconic super model; Naomi Campbell who came all the way from the U.S to visit these kids in their home in Ikorodu and also introduced them as the opening act of the night during one of the biggest Easter shows for artist in diaspora tagged ‘Home Coming’ which featured big artist such as Skepta, DavidO, Wizkid, DJ Spinall, Greatness, Tiwa Savage, and so on.
The Dance Team also caught the attention of one of the biggest and best female artist in the world, Rihanna who also gave the kids some accolades. They also got the attention of the popular rapper, Diddy.
However, Friday Treat had learnt that the UK based Nigerian Afropop Singer Dampte, may have been charmed with great skills these wonderful kids possess. According to a source, Dampte seemed to have concluded plans to feature them in his coming single entitled Telemundo, a title synonymous to a popular American Spanish language terrestrial television network, but it is yet unknown whether it’s content actually have much to do about the television network.
More so, the song will also feature the Legbegbe crooner, Mr Real, while the video visuals would be shot in some locations around the world, Friday Treat gathered.
