According to Chairman, SYAN, Honourable Ahmed Ifeoluwa, the award presented to Akanbi, “Is in recognition of his leadership acumen, passionate professional capabilities, fervent and productive contribution to humanity and the country at large.”

Comprised of youths from the 17 states of the Southern region, SYAN is a legislative youth organization that rallies youth leaders together on one platform where they can familiarise with the process of lawmaking and getting involved in formulation of youth-friendly policies via engagement with National and state Houses of Assembly, respectively.

Similarly, the real estate maven and creative-preneur was adorned with Honourary Membership badge and conferred with a recognition as Patron of the Cadet Network of Nigeria. Conveying the honour, Cadet Lt. Gen. Joshua Fatoye, General Officer Commanding of the association underlined Olabisi Akanbi’s impressive reputation as a professional and youth leader as some of his key attributes.

Fatoye disclosed that “With your new honour, we want to stress that it is our common responsibility to add value to the lives of the youths in our society, as the youths are seen as the future leaders of the nation. We count on you as a youth ambassador and partner-in-progress to work together to positively impact the Nigerian youths.”

In his reaction, Akanbi said, “I count it as a big honour for Nigerian youths to deem me worthy of honour. This places a huge responsibility on my shoulders as a Youth Ambassador to continue to inspire our teeming youth population. Aside what I have done with Labo Entertainment and Labo Foundation, we have also recently launched Labo Farm in Ogun State to help address unemployment and boost food supply. I remain committed to using the resources God has blessed me with for the good of all Nigerian youths.”
