
Dogara stated this when he visited two orphanage homes in Karu, a suburb of Abuja along with his wife and other members of the House of Representatives to mark the occasion after a Church Service at the Living Faith GOSHOM Centre, in Nasawa state
The Speaker who promised to set up a machinery in motion to rub minds with the FCT administration to ensure that orphans seeking medical treatment and education were given free in the territory.
He lamented that the children required assistances from the society because of the unfortunate situation they found themselves due and not faults of their own
Dogara stated that the free medical care and education in the territory would integrate and spur them up  to explore their potentials in the country with a warning that the inmates should not see their condition as an impediment to their careers in life
He disclosed that he was dedicating the occasion of his birthday to support the less privileged in the society and has sent gift items to all the nineteen orphanage homes simultaneously in the FCT and pledged to use the process to be realised at the occasion for the orphans.
According to him, ” our presence here today is not for road show, we are committed to ensuring that that the Children reach the highest they can, they have no fathers but they have God as their fathers, they will get to the highest of what God has in future for them
“Am appealing to the wealthy men and women in our society to come to their aid, it is not due to their own faults, we have to assist them to grow in one way or the other.”
The Speaker pleaded with the Senator representing the FCT in the National Assembly, Senator Philip Aduda ‎to assist in ensuring that inmates of Orphanage homes were given special treatment
Earlier the coordinator of the Treasure Orphanage,  Federal Housing Karu, Mrs Sarah John had pleaded with the Speaker to assist in getting a permanent for the home and prayed to God to continue to guide and guard him in the journey of life
