Does your noodle dish have any attitude?

noodlesThere are so many ways to prepare instant noodles, whatever the brand. This week, we will be exploring the various ways to cook your favourite noodles and give it some attitude.

 

1 .The pack method

Heat up water in a pan.

Add the instant noodles in the hot water

Empty the chili powder and seasoning powder into the noodles

Stir and serve.

 

  1. Jollof method

Heat up water in a pan, add the instant noodles into the water and add vegetable oil.

Allow the water to dry a bit before adding the vegetables.

Add chopped onions, pepper, green beans, peas and carrots.

Add some seasoning powder to it and stir.

You can boil eggs to serve with the instant noodles or add some shredded chicken, or fried chicken can be served with it.

  1. Instant fried noodles

3 packs of instant noodles

1 medium onion

3 baby carrots

1 handful green beans

2 plum tomatoes

2 scotch bonnet peppers

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon ground crayfish (optional)

Diced Chicken, meat, gizzard

5 tablespoons vegetable oil

Procedure

Make sure you have washed and cut all the vegetables into smaller sizes.

Add one cup of clean water to a pot and heat it on fire. Empty your packs of instant noodles into the water when it boils. Cook the noodles till they are firm.

Bring off from heat and drain excess liquid.

Heat a frying pan on heat, add vegetable oil to the pan and heat

Stir fry all the vegetables for two minutes.

Season the vegetable with seasoning powder or your normal seasoning cube.

Pour the noodles into the vegetable and stir fry until it becomes fluffy.

Add your diced chicken, meat, gizzard.

Reduce the heat and let the noodles fry on a low heat.

Bring it off from heat and serve with fried/boiled egg and salad.

 

  1. The Pizza noddle dish

Soak your noodles (3) in warm water for five minutes.

Drain the water from the noodles and break two eggs into the soaked noodles.

Whip the mixture.

Put frying pan on fire and heat some oil.

Add vegetables and diced meat.

Stir the vegetable in oil sauce and when hot, pour the soaked indomie/egg mixture.

Cover the pan till the noodles swell and assume a pizza shape.

Serve.
