Developmental projects: PDP chairman drums support for Gov Bala

National leadership of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has declared that the party and its entire membership have every reason to support Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.

The declaration was made in Abuja on Saturday by the Ag PDP National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagun at a Grand reception organised in honor of the Governor who bagged the Distinguished Award on Urban Renewal.

Umar Iliya Damagun said that the PDP at various levels is very proud of Bala Mohammed considering his administration’s many developmental projects and programmes across the state.

He stressed, “With all these and many more, we as a party have every reason to support him.”

Umar Damagum described the Governor as a worthy card bearer of the party adding that cone 2027, the main opposition PDP is the Best choice for the country.

Also speaking, Emir of Bauchi who is the Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alh Dr Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu commended the Governor for the various developments his administration has brought to the State since 2019 stressing that the award was well deserved.

The Emir added that the Governor has been able to restore the lost glory of the state expressing confidence that at the end of his administration, the Governor will definitely leave Bauchi State better than how he met it.

A political ally of the Governor, Sen Abdul Ahmad Ningi, Hon Mansur Manu Soro, and the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Jamilu UMARU Dahiru spoke variously on behalf of the National and State Assembly Members where they pledged to continue to support the Governor to enable him achieve more successes.

In his response, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed appreciated the Federal Government for the honor done to him just as he dedicated the award to the good people of Bauchi State for giving him the mandate and opportunity to serve them

Bala Mohammed emphasized the need for all Indigenes of the state to join hands with his Administration which is working on the path of developmental ideology of ‘My Bauchi Project’.

The Governor commended all stakeholders who involved themselves in serving the state.

The session which was held at Tatari Ali House Abuja had prominent personalities including Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi (Bauchi Central), State Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam, and Secretary to State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim.

Others present were Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, Deputy Speaker, BAHA, Hon. Jamilu Dahiru, Chairman, SUBEB, Alhaji Adamu Mohammed.
