Developing a unique system of govt

NIGERIA’s democracy should not be practised as it is being done in other countries of the world; we should be able to tailor ours to suit our multi-ethnic composition. I am thinking that we should have a situation whereby, we will have the president, who will be assisted by five vice presidents from the other five geo-political zones in the country. After the president serves a term three years, he leaves, and another person from his region is voted as vice president.

Another of the earlier vice presidents would then become the president. With this system, every region will have the opportunity of producing the president. Why are we currently having tension in our political system today?

It is because some regions feel they are being denied the opportunity to produce the president. This system will eliminate that.
