Delta State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Engr. Austine Okolie, has inaugurated the as LGA committees inaugurated5 Local Government Coalition Committees across the three senatorial districts of the state, with a call on members to avoid anti-party activities.
Speaking at the inauguration in Asaba over the weekend, Engr. Okolie charged members to remain dedicated to the cause of building a new Nigeria.
He encouraged everyone to register and secure their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs), stressing that no meaningful political goal can be achieved without them.
Engr. Okolie further reminded members that the ADC’s symbol, the Handshake, represents unity, trust, and the brand-new Nigeria of their dreams.
He warned that the party would not condone indiscipline or any act of anti-party activity, urging members to return to their wards and function as true crusaders of the ADC’s vision.
He also emphasized that positions within the party are earned through hard work and commitment at the grassroots, not through desperation or propaganda.
The chairman encouraged members to focus on contributing positively to the growth of the party, assuring them of equal opportunities for all committed members.

A highlight of the event was the State Chairman leading the gathering in the ADC song: “A New Nigeria ADC – Tell your Mama and Papa that through ADC a new Nigeria is here, because me, I don follow ADC.”
Meanwhile, the inaugurations in the three senatorial districts were conducted by the Vice Chairmen: Mrs. Chiwe Ejidoh (Delta North), Hon. Obus Doughor (Delta Central), and Apostle Amos Peremene (Delta South).
In their separate remarks, the vice chairmen urged members to give their best in mobilizing followers to join the Nigeria Rescue Mission of the ADC, emphasizing that the nation is in urgent need of total liberation and good governance at all levels.
