Renowned media mogul and political commentator, Chief Dele Momodu, is set to mark his 65th birthday with a significant event, the second edition of the Dele Momodu Leadership Lecture. Scheduled for May 16, 2025, at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) in Lagos, the lecture is themed “How to End Hunger and Poverty in Africa”.
The event will feature former President Olusegun Obasanjo as the Guest Lecturer and former President Goodluck Jonathan as the Special Guest of Honour. Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, will serve as the event host, bringing together a distinguished audience of leaders from politics, media, diplomacy, industry, and culture.
Following the lecture, a Dinner and Gala Night will be held at the Balmoral Event Centre within the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The evening promises to be a celebration of Chief Momodu’s contributions to journalism, politics, and cultural advocacy.
