Nigerian rapper, Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, has finally addressed the rumors of his death.
Tribune Online reports that Oladips became a trending topic after his management released a statement claiming that the rapper had passed away on November 14.
However, two days after the death announcement, a post by Nigerian singer and close associate of the rapper, Qdot, revealed that Oladips is alive and well.
Qdot’s revelation sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many doubting the authenticity of the death news.
Responding to the controversy on Thursday, Oladips posted a video on his Instagram story, showing him vibing to a song from his new album, ‘Superhero Adugbo’.
Captioning the video, he wrote, “Proof of life.”
A check by Tribune Online confirmed that the obituary post on the rapper’s Instagram page had been deleted.
