British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris has made a bold revelation about his romantic life, claiming that he has never experienced rejection from a woman.

The 33-year-old, known for his breakout role as Franklin Saint in the critically acclaimed series Snowfall, made the remark during a recent appearance on the popular YouTube series Chicken Shop Date, hosted by Amelia Dimoldenberg.

When asked how many times he had been turned down after making a move, Idris confidently replied, “Never”.

The statement comes just months after his high-profile relationship with American model Lori Harvey ended.

The pair dated for about a year before officially calling it quits in November 2023.

Born Adamson Alade-Bo Idris in Peckham, South-East London, to Nigerian parents of Yoruba descent, Damson is the youngest of six children.

He studied drama at Brunel University London and began his career on stage before transitioning into television and film.

Idris gained global recognition in 2017 with his lead role in Snowfall, a crime drama created by the late filmmaker John Singleton.

His portrayal of the ambitious drug dealer Franklin Saint earned him widespread critical acclaim.

Since then, he has built an impressive filmography and racked up accolades, including Best Actor in a British Film at the 2019 Edinburgh International Film Festival and Best Actor at the 2023 BET Awards.
