Dammy Krane submits petition against Davido

Published by

Nigerian singer, Dammy Krane, has ignited a firestorm on social media with his recent petition to the Inspector General of Police, IGP) Kayode Egbetokun, accusing his colleague, Davido, of various wrongdoings.

The petition, which has gone viral, outlines five key issues. This includes the reopening of the late Tagbo’s death case. Also, it shows the alleged death threats made against Dammy Krane, allegedly by one of Davido’s associates.

Dammy Krane seeks the IGP’s intervention to lift bans on his accounts, which he claims have restricted his access to his funds.

Furthermore, he demands that Davido pay him $500,000 for his contributions to the song “Pere”, a fee he alleges was agreed upon but never paid.

Despite his arrest and release from the Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Abuja, Dammy Krane has refused to retract his defamatory comments against Davido.

This sparked the initial controversy. However, the recent petition has sparked a heated debate online, with many expressing outrage and disbelief at Dammy Krane’s claims, especially to Davido.
