Fashion is life—an embodiment of life. In a world of fashion where creativity knows no bounds, a name stands out for its timeless elegance and unique style: Cynthiamary Onyejiaka, the brilliant mind behind Cindymary Couture.

We had the pleasure of sitting down with Cynthiamary to delve into her journey and the remarkable impact of her fashion brand.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, Cynthiamary’s early experiences with fashion instilled in her a profound appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship of clothing design. As she grew older, her passion for fashion continued to blossom, leading her to pursue a career in this dynamic field.

“I was quick to pick up new self-taught sewing skills, and over time, I decided to make a career of it,” Cynthiamary explains.

“I enrolled in a fashion school after high school in 2012, where I learned all the basic skills that I still use now. My fashion brand started shortly after. Since then, I have attended three other fashion schools in Nigeria and a masterclass abroad.”

In 2015, Cynthiamary founded Cindymary Couture, a fashion company that has grown to captivate both local and international clients. Her fashion school, Cindymary Fashion Academy, has become a beacon of knowledge, training, and mentoring countless fashion designers online and offline.

Cindymary Couture has garnered a significant clientele over the years, thanks to its commitment to quality products, fair pricing, and a competitive edge in the production process.

This dedication ensures that each piece created meets the client’s specifications, taste, and personality. The brand remains steadfast in providing up-to-date and professional services to its clientele.

Her goal is to create clothing that is accessible and affordable while maintaining her high standards for quality and style. She is also exploring innovative ways to market her brand and expand her reach.

Furthermore, Cynthiamary is excited about collaborations with other designers and brands, promising to bring fresh and unique ideas to life. Although she cannot share all the details at this time, these projects are sure to be remarkable.

For aspiring fashion designers, Cynthiamary’s advice is clear: “Stay true to yourselves and your vision. Find your own unique voice and style, be patient, and be willing to put in the hard work. Success in the fashion industry takes time, but if you remain true to yourself and work diligently, you will see results.”
