Cherubim & Seraphim church set to ordain new spiritual father

The Cherubim & Seraphim church is poised to usher in a new era of spiritual leadership as they prepare to ordain their latest spiritual father. It will also witness the ordination of an impressive cohort of 1,500 prophets and prophetesses.

Speaking on the theme of the 2024 Horeb, which will be held from April 28 to May 5, 2024, the Spiritual Father said that it is “good tidings,” and the anchor scripture is Luke 2:10.

“Some of the highlights of this year’s Horeb, which is expected to be attended by over 10,000 members across the world, are the ordination and installation of the sixth Spiritual Father and Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, which will take place on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

“Also, Conference Supervising Prophet, Special Apostle Prophet Dr. Joel Adeniran, will be ordained on Friday, May 3, 2024. About 1,500 prophets and prophetesses will also be ordained.

Addressing journalists to herald this year’s ascension of Mount Horeb at the world headquarters of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, at Galilee Land, Orile-Igbon, Oyo State, on Friday, the chairman and acting Spiritual Father of the church, Most Senior Special Apostle Prophet Dr Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, also advised state governments to initiate independent power plants to improve electricity supply and boost the nation’s economy.

“Another key issue is security. Without adequate security, there cannot be development. The government should address the security challenges confronting the nation head-on.

“Also, the government should not relent in reviving all refineries across the country, as this is the panacea to stable, regular, and cheaper products,” he said.

While urging Nigerians to play their parts in the development and progress of the country, Prophet Alogbo stressed the need for Nigerians to individually and collectively pray for the leaders and the nation.

He admonished Nigerians, saying, “As a people, this is the period for us to have strong faith as God is on the throne and will soon turn around the situation for the good of all. Be strong, steadfast, and unmovable, and keep praying to the most high God, who is able to do all things as in the days of old.

“In the meantime, I advise all Nigerians to work hard to earn more income to keep them and their families afloat. Pray more for yourselves, your families, the church, and the nation till things get better.”

On the essence of the ascension of the annual Mount Horeb, the Spiritual Father said it is to seek the face of God for members, the nation, and the world at large, stressing that the Church strongly believes in the efficacy of prayers.

“God has been faithful to us and has never forsaken us. With the help of God Almighty and the support of members, structures are springing up daily, which will turn Galilee into a megacity as envisioned by my predecessor. On my part, I promise I will not derail from the original plan to achieve the much-desired aim of moving down to Galilee,” he said.
