Renowned photographer, Oluwapelumi Bamidele has expressed her excitement over the widespread recognition of her celebrity images, which have gone viral on multiple occasions.

Speaking in an interview with our correspondent, Bamidele recalled the moment her work gained global recognition.
“One of my most viral and widely recognized works was the stunning portrait of Ghanaian actress Nana Akua Addo at the AMVCA 2020. She turned heads in a breathtaking sculptural dress designed by Gaurav Gupta,” she said.
The image, which highlighted the dramatic elegance of the outfit, quickly became a global sensation, drawing attention from fashion critics and media outlets worldwide.
“I was very excited when I saw the attention it got globally. The image was also featured across major fashion platforms and became one of the most shared red carpet moments of the year. As a photographer, it was a big moment for me, and it showed that I understand how to capture fashion as art,” she added.
Beyond the red carpet, Bamidele has also made a significant impact in wedding photography.
Her coverage of Nollywood actress Rita Dominic’s wedding became a national talking point, further solidifying her reputation.
“At Ovia Reflex, we document high-profile weddings with an editorial touch. Notably, the wedding of Rita Dominic, one of Nollywood’s most beloved actresses, was immortalized through our lens. The images exuded an air of timelessness, blending romance with high-fashion aesthetics,”she said.
Bamidele said, “Also, the wedding of Indinma Okojie was another testament to our ability to turn real-life love stories into cinematic imagery.”
