Carnival Media hits the airwaves

An internet based station, Carnival Media Limited, is in town with a potpourri of exciting programmes  lined up for listeners .

The idea behind the venture  is to broadcast  24 hours of music, news, live coverage , talk shows ,dramas to the excitement of fans.

Founder, Kamoru Ademola Bakare, told Sunday Tribune that the media outfit is out to  showcase  a credible platform that informs, entertains, educates and enriches the public by providing a professional world class environment.

‘’Genuine public service is at the very heart of what we do,’’ said the US- based media chief.

‘’The headquarters of Carnival Media is based in Ibadan, the largest city in West Africa and being a melting pot of national activities, assorted tribes and ethnic groups, we hope this mission will help the youth to grab an opportunity to earn decent living, distinguish themselves and grow to be role models in the media world. We are determined to make a huge success of this enterprise,’’ he explained further.

Bakare, who is the original anchor of the widely read ‘’Hotels & Tourism’’ column in the defunct Sketch Press Limited added: ‘’We have the objective of promoting culture, human values through balanced reportage and programming.’’

As a way of standing out from the pack, Bakare revealed that the management of the media outfit has gone at length to recruit outstanding broadcasters, presenters and  On-Air-Personalities ( OAPs) who are capable of  delivering the goods in the present world of competitive atmosphere in media delivery and performance .

With an experience rich in national and international reporting  dating as far back as 1992, Bakare is a graduate of Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ),  University of Ibadan,( UI) where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Communication and Language Arts.
