
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has won the Kaduna All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election with 1.9million votes.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who was the Returning Officer of the election, announced the results at the Kaduna APC Secretariat at the weekend.
According to El-Rufai, the election took place on Friday 28th, September 2018 with video and pictorial recordings of conducting the election.

He said, ” It took us two days to compile the results because large number of party members turned out to vote”, he noted.
Reading the summary of the results collated from the local government headquarters and forwarded to the State party headquarters by the chairmen, El-Rufai said,” The total registered members of APC are 1,15,224, while accredited members were 1,9,787 and total votes cast stands at 1,9,565.
The Governor, who said details of the results would be sent the National Headquarters of APC, however, declared President Buhari as the duly elected winner of the election.
