PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, placed a telephone call to the Minister of Youth Development and Sports, Solomon Dalung, to condole with him over the death of his wife, Briskila.
According to a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to Vice President, Laolu Akande, in Abuja, Buhari, who is currently away on vacation, implored Dalung to take solace in the testimonies of those who knew his late wife who bear witness to a life characterised by kindness and honesty.”
Similarly, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, has expressed condolences to the minister on behalf of himself and the government and people of Nigeria.
Osinbajo described Mrs. Dalung as a strong pillar of support for her husband.
Mrs. Briskila Dalung, passed away on Sunday, leaving behind her husband and five children.
Both Buhari Osinbajo prayed that God would give the Minister, the children and the family, the strength to bear the untimely loss.
