BREAKING: Thick smoke from suspected criminal hideout causes panic in Abuja

Residents in Kubwa have been thrown into a panic over a thick smoke which was sighted along Byazhin road.

Tribune Online gathered that a joint task force had demolished and set ablaze suspected criminal hideouts in the area.

The fire which seems uncontrollable was accompanied by a thick smoke which covered the area and caused panic.

When Tribune Online correspondent visited one of the scenes where the fire emanated from, he was advised by a police officer among the task force to leave the scene.

The fire was still burning while efforts are being made to put it out as at the time this report.
