THE Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) is currently boiling as scores of students go on protest over pending issues with the management of the Institute.
The protesting students were seen armed with placards bearing their grievances and anger.
It appeared the gates of the institute located in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, were shut to prevent the students from gaining entrance to the complex.
As a result, some of the protesting students were seen making frantic effort to jump over the fence into the campus.
Details of the reasons for the protest could not be immediately ascertained as of the time of filing this report, TribuneOnline, however, gathered that it was based on sundry issues.
Some of the students were seen engaging in hot arguments with security officials of the school at the locked gate while others were seen in small groups standing aloof and chatting in hush tunes.
