Elder statesman and Former minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Maitama Sule is dead.
According to a highly presidency source, he reportedly died in a Cairo Hospital, Egypt Monday morning.
The source said that his remains would be flown to the country any time from now for Islamic rites burial in Kano, his country home.
Maitama Sule held one of the highest traditional tittles of Dan Massanin Kano and as well held several positions in the public service before his demise
