Osogbo and Ede in Osun State was thrown into confusion early Sunday morning, over the news that the former governor of the state and serving Senator Isiaka Adeleke is dead.
There had been earlier concern over the health status of 62 years old politician, as close associates said he had been critically ill.
He was said to have been admitted to a private hospital along Ikirun road.
One of the spokesperson to the former governor told Tribune Online that he was on his way to the hospital but could not confirm the state he is in now.
