The Independent National Electoral Commission has decided to shift Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections till next week 23 February.
The INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, briefing the press after the end of an emergency stakeholders meeting of the Commission said, the new date for the presidential and National Assembly elections is February 23, while that of the governorship and States House of Assembly is March 9.
