Heavy security presence, on Monday, greeted the front gate and the environs of the Lagos State House of Assembly amidst the speakership tussle.
The Security officials of the Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Rocket were seen manning the movement of people and vehicles.
There are no blockades as motorists are making their way but at a slow pace.
DSS officials barricaded journalists from gaining entrance, saying they had not been authorised to allow them in for now.
Members of staff of the Assembly were asked for their Identification Cards before being allowed into the premises.
Vehicles are seriously checked by the security officials prior to entrance into the environment.
