Governors of the 36 states of the federation are meeting in Abuja under the aegis of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
The meeting of the forum is a prelude to the National Economic Council (NEC) to be presided over by its chairman, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, at the presidential villa, Abuja on Thursday.

On the agenda of the meeting taking place at the national secretariat of the forum in Maitama, Abuja are updates on the disbursement of PAYE, budget support facility, the National Sports Festival, and nomination of host states for the joint Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
About 20 governors or their deputies are in attendance.

and then
