The chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state, Paul Omotosho is dead.
A source in the party informed Nigerian Tribune that the Imesi-Ekiti born politician and lawyer died in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.
It was gathered that the APC was in his office on Tuesday for his routine daily activities but felt feverish in the evening where he was taken to a government hospital.
He died at the hospital few hours later.
As of the time of this report, the APC and the state governor, Biodun Oyebanji are yet to issue an official statement on the demise of the party chairman.
