The House of Representatives, on Tuesday, resolved to suspend plenary for two weeks over the dreaded coronavirus now rearing its ugly head in some states of the Federation.

The period is to allow the Management of the National Assembly to put in place, facilities that would assist in screening and detecting the symptoms.
This followed the adoption of a motion moved by Rep Josiah Eden on the contagious disease and amended by the Minority Leader of the House, Rep Ndudi Elumelu at the plenary presided over by the Deputy Speaker, Rep Ahmed Wase.
