A video now circulating on social media shows a female undergraduate of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education Science and Technology, Ikere in Ekiti State, brutally beating a fellow student with a stick, despite desperate pleas for mercy.
Shockingly, the perpetrator is heard callously remarking, “Let me draw blood from you easily or hardly.”
On Sunday, the same day the video surfaced online, the incident took place at the BOUESTI campus, as confirmed by a witness who filmed the disturbing footage. Identified as Ajayi Precious Gloria, the victim, and her assailant, a “very popular” Mass Communication student, were purportedly friends, according to the video’s commentator.
While the footage shows other individuals present during the assault, none intervened to halt the violence. The motive behind the attack remains unknown, further fueling the public’s condemnation and demand for justice.
This incident has sparked a widespread outrage amongst netizens on social media platform, X.
