Barrister Bolarinwa Elijah Aidi was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1991, a Notary Public, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ladoke Akintola University and a Masters in Maritime Law from the Lagos State University.

Aidi, who has been in active legal practice for 30 years as a solicitor and advocate is an accomplished author of many books, in diverse fields of legal practice and a senior member of the NBA, with wide experience in various aspects of legal practice such as Oil and Gas, Banking and Insurance, Arbitration, Election Petition, Constitutional and Administrative Law.

Aidi constantly renders free legal services to indigent clients and had consulted variously for the National Assembly, several corporate organisations and companies.

Apart from being active in litigation, the lawyer has published many books, including a Dictionary of Petroleum and Maritime Law, Cases and Materials on Petroleum Law, Arbitration Law in Nigeria, Nigerian Legal Dictionary, Nigerian Petroleum and Maritime Law Reports, a compendium of Oil and Gas Legislation in Nigeria, among others.
