SEVERAL homes have been burnt down as Boko Haram dares Rann the Kala Balge capital, killing one, fleeing resident and wounding several.
Sources alleged that about 8 pm Monday evening, the insurgents in their numbers stormed Kala Balge and started razing down homes of residents in Rann and shooting at random, terrorizing the people.

There was shooting in the air in both towns as the guns rendered heavy sounds in the air, making residents run for their lives
“All of us took off into the bush running for our lives. When we looked back we saw most of our homes razed down. One man was shot in the neck while another lost his life.” Said the source.
He said that Damasak was also under attack Monday evening and that the military was fiercely battling them.
No response had emanated from the military as at the time of writing this report.
