A popular social media user, Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, has petitioned the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police against a transvestite cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, over alleged public display of homosexual affection.

Verydarkman, who introduced himself as a social media moral values influencer and consumer rights activist in the petition letter, disclosed via his verified account on X platform on Tuesday that the petition has been received by the Deputy Inspector General of Police.

In the petition titled “RE: BREACHES OF SECTION 4(2) OF SAME SEX MARRIAGE (PROHIBITION) ACT 2013 BY ONE MR. IDRIS OLANREWAJU OKUNEYE A.K.A ‘BOBRISKY’ AND SOME PRODUCT OWNERS,” Verydarkman accused Bobrisky of publicly displaying amorous relationships with other men online, which is against the constitution of Nigeria.

He also accused some product owners of taking advantage of Bobrisky’s alleged public display of homosexual relationships to advertise their products.

The petition comes barely a week after Verydarkman, who has on many occasions condemned crossdressing, vowed to become a crossdresser himself if Bobrisky is not arrested.

The petition reads in parts, “As solicitors to Mr. Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as “VeryDarkBlackMan, a consumer right activist, and social media moral values influencer, we present this complaint on behalf of our client against one Mr. Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye also known as “Bobrisky” and some product owners who use his public display of amorous relationship with fellow men as advertisements.

“Section 4 (2) of Same Sex Marriage (Prohibition Act) 2013 prohibits public show of same sex amorous relationship directly or indirectly (indirectly underlined for emphasis). Violation of the said Section 4(2) of the said act is punishable under Section 5(2) of the same law that prescribes 10 years imprisonment as punishment for the breach.”

Captioning the post, he wrote, “My petition received by the DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE…so after EFCC we move to the next & the law is the law.”
