Media personality and anchor, The Gist, Emma Ugolee, has cried out for public support over his failing kidney. (Ugolee, who has been battling with the kidney problem for over five years, took to his Instagram page on Thursday to reveal the extent of the damage of the kidney.
Ugolee, who is currently battling to save his life, took to his Instagram handle on Thursday to solicit for public support and funds towards raising the required $100,000 (about N48 million) that is needed for the transplant.
Ugolee confirmed that he had been on dialysis for five years but his vessels were collapsing as his doctors have insisted that only a kidney transplant would save his life.
According to him,”my doctors said they can’t continue to prick me anymore. My blood vessels are collapsing from five years of dialysis. They said I have to do the surgery now. I have not given up myself but I have been fighting this battle alone for five years andat this time, I need Nigerians to help me raise the funds so that I can have my life back.”
