Bisoye Fagade honoured in grand coronation ceremony in Ibadan

The city of Ibadan, a historical hub of culture and tradition, came alive as Bisoye Fagade, the new Director General of NIHOTOUR was honoured with the prestigious chieftaincy title of the Aare Asojuoba of Ibadanland by the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin in a grand ceremony that drew dignitaries, socialites, and well-wishers from across Nigeria.

The event showcased the rich Yoruba heritage, with traditional drumming, elaborate attire, and colourful decorations that set the stage for the momentous occasion. Guests were greeted with the rhythmic sounds of talking drums and the vibrant energy of dancers who performed to the delight of the audience.

A reception held at the International Conference Centre of the University of Ibadan and was graced by an array of prominent figures, including traditional rulers, politicians, business moguls, and celebrities. Among the notable attendees were Oba Saheed Elegushi, Oba Francis Alao, Chief Bayo Adelabu, Dr Hannatu Musawa and many others who added to the prestige of the occasion.
