Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr Oyebanji Filani, Wednesday, said that bio water has a greater advantage to humans, just as he urged Nigerians to embrace it as it contains certain elements that are good for the body, serves as antioxidants, as well as enhance body fitness.
Filani made this known at the unveiling of Fure Water Bio Water company, at Ikole-Ekiti State, adding, “Aside from the fact that the water and herbaceutical company will contribute to the growth of the economy in the community, the bio water has great benefits to mankind.”
The Commissioner for Health, who represented the Ekiti State governor, Mr Abiodun Oyebanji, at the event, stressed that the government was impressed with the initiative and passion of Professor Fafure in contributing immensely towards the growth of his immediate community, state and country at large through improved natural health initiatives.
The Ikole Local Government Chairman, Mr Sola Olominu, expressed his delight over the commissioning of the company, adding, “It has no doubt added to the development of Ikole, Ekiti State, and Nigeria at large. I am extremely happy that this is happening at this time. This initiative has again proved that Professor Fafure is an exceptional leader and a role model in Ikole and beyond.”
As an appreciation towards his contribution to the development of his community and mankind, various associations including the Ikole Progressive Union (IPU), Ikole Restoration Council (IRC), and Nigerian Council of Physicians of Natural Medicine (NCPNM), commended him, as well as honoured Professor Fafure with an excellence award.
According to the president of the Nigerian Council of Physicians of Natural Medicine, Professor Cyril Omisande, Professor Fafure, who is a BoT member of the association, has contributed immensely to the growth of natural medicine in Nigeria and Africa, and the association was delighted to celebrate with him as he established a Bio Water company to enhance the health of people.
The event was graced by dignitaries from all walks of life and top government official, and royal fathers including, the royal father of the day HRM, Eleri of Ikunri-Ekiti, Oba Adeyeye Fatile.
In his remarks, Professor Fafure, expressed his delight at the success of the new establishment, noting the initiative has been part of his long dreams to institute a concept that will be of benefit to his immediate environment, and the country at large.
“I am extremely concerned about the healthy life of the poor, aged, widows, and the youths. I have made a lot of research on this project, but I thank God that it has come to a reality. This initiative will also open doors for employment among the youth. Science is very important in the life of human beings. Magnetized water is good for humans, plants and animals. We are not only concentrating on water, but the company is also a complete herbaceutical company,” he added.
