BENUE State Police command yesterday said it would deploy over one thousand personnel in the state to ensure hitch free APC presidential rally which holds today (Wednesday)
The State Commissioner of Police, Omololu Bishi disclosed this to newsmen in Makurdi.
The commissioner said that in a bid to avoid clashes between political parties the command had decided not to allow different political parties hold rally in the same town.

Bishi who spoke on the recent violence during the All Progressive Congress governorship rally in Gbajimba, headquarters of Guma local government area of the state said that a number of persons have been arrested.
The police boss who said that investigation was still on going, added that those arrested after investigation would be charged to court.
President Muhammad Buhari is expected to hold his campaign rally in Makurdi today (Wednesday).
