A high-powered delegation of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), on Sunday, paid a condolence visit to the Kano home of the family of the late Air Vice Marshal Hamza Abdullahi, who died, on Thursday, in a German hospital.
The delegation, which was led by the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Mohammed Bashir Mai-Bornu, presented a letter of condolence to the family on behalf of the FCT minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello.
Bello, in the letter, said the entire management and staff of the FCT administration were touched by the demise of the former FCT Minister.
While noting that death is an inevitable end to every mortal existence, the minister said members of the FCT family were, however, consoled that late AVM Hamza Abdullahi distinguished himself as an astute statesman and exemplary leader while serving his country in the military and particularly as the minister of FCT between 1986 and 1989.

According to a statement endorsed by the minister’s Special Assistant (SA), Media, Malam Abubakar Sani, a copy of which was made available to TribuneOnline in Abuja, Bello prayed for Almighty God to grant the late minister Aljanna Firdaus and the family, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Other members of the FCT delegation include the Secretary of Area Council Service Secretariat, Senator Isa Maina, Director of Security Services, Mohammed Maikasuwa, Director of Engineering Services, Shehu Hadi Ahmad, as well as Mohammed Baffa of the Office of the Permanent Secretary and the S.A to the minister on Media, Malam Abubakar Sani.
The delegation was received by the Emir of Hadeja, Adamu Abubakar Maje.
The visit of the FCT delegation coincided with the third-day Fiddau prayers offered, on Sunday, for the late minister.
