An Ibadan-based businessman and ex-associate of Late MKO Abiola, Alhaji Sufianu Kazeem has urged political leaders to be conscious of the economic situation in the country while formulating policies.
Kazeem who made this known in a statement stressed the need for the populace to pray for President Bola Tinubu and all the elected officeholders noting the enormity of the tasks before them.
He said the peace, progress, and economic emancipation of the country should be of paramount concern to the citizenry.
He also urged members of the political class to tread softly and exhibit a high level of maturity as Nigeria continues to witness new governments across the state and Nigeria.
He admonished Nigerians to continue to exhibit love towards their fellow human beings and dedication to the service of humanity as exhibited by the Holy Prophet Ibrahim.
The business mogul said he believes the new Tinubu administration had brought into his government everything within its power and available resources to lift up the nation and ensure that it was put on a sound footing.
He congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his Vice, Kashim Shettima, and all Muslims in Nigeria and Oyo in particular, calling on them to reflect on the essence of the celebration.
